Azteca
The Azteca was first developed in 1972 from a blend of Andalusian, American Quarter horse and Mexican Criollo bloodlines, when the breed spread into the United States the American Paint Horse's bloodline was added in too. Azteca Stallions and Geldings are measured to stand between 15hh - 16.1hh while Mares are measured to stand at between 14.3hh - 16hh with the ideal height for the breed being 14.3hh - 15.1hh. The breed is coloured in all solid colours with Grey being most popular, white markings are allowed on the face and lower legs. The breed is know for its athleticism.
